May is Disability Insurance Awareness Month

To attract and retain the best employees, you need a competitive benefits package.  That’s why, in addition to medical insurance, you offer products like Life and Disability Insurance.  May is Disability Insurance Awareness Month, and we’d like to help you educate your employees about the importance of this very valuable coverage.

Why is This Important?

Most Americans underestimate their risk of suffering a disability and overestimate the resources they have available if it should happen.

Everyone values their paycheck, and few can afford to live without it for any length of time. Unfortunately, many Americans don’t understand that their ability to earn an income is an asset they can insure, just as they insure other valuable assets like their homes and cars.

Spread the Word

We’ve included two flyers for you to use to educate your employees about the importance and value of disability insurance.  You can print these pieces and post them in common areas at work.  Or, include them in your company’s intranet or newsletter.
